Cutie's surgery was about 10 years ago, and if I remember correctly it cost a couple hundred dollars. I really don't remember very well, sorry. He recovered very well, but make sure he doesn't go outside during the recovery period. Depending on the type of stones, your cat may have to be on a special food, or medication for the rest of his life. We also had a Maine Coon mix that had bladder stones, and he had kind that was kept in check by food, but Cutie needed medicine, which was very easy to give since it was a liquid that tasted like tuna. We wish Franklin the best of luck with his surgery!!

We had to take our 2 yo male Maine Coon mix in today and the vet said he has bladder stones. I am just curious how much this cost you for the surgery and also what the recovery is like. Franklin is very independent and I am afraid the recovery may be difficult on him. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
